Create a You Plan
Through my work with so many women over these past 5 years, I’ve noticed one common thread. As busy woman with many roles in life – mother, wife, friend, daughter, professional and member of various communities – you’ve unknowingly let “life” take over before you realise you haven’t been feeling yourself lately.
It’s a subtle shift and yet it still takes you all by surprise.
You feel exhausted chasing after what you “should” do and how things “should” look like in your life. You feel guilty for not being good enough for the people you love most even though you do everything in your power to make them happy.
And then your feelings of guilt are invariably followed by feelings of regret.
You realise that your dream of a great body or better health or more energy or your own business or (fill in the blank) won’t wait for your forever…
But no matter how hard you try to push this dream out of the way. it doesn’t just “go away” if you ignore it–does it?
It keeps creeping up on you to remind you that it’s still unfulfilled. It nags and nags.
When you ignore it long enough, it turns into more regret.
And then instead of just nagging at you that you should’ve done something, it now nags and laments that you didn’t do something sooner.
That’s when you might lose the dream altogether because it’s too late.
If you find yourself always waiting to be “ready” or for your circumstances to be “better” or for when you “have the time/energy/space/money”—it doesn’t really happen, does it?
I want to make it easier for you to say YES to your dream and prioritising yourself.
When I started this magazine I wanted it to be a source of all things health and wellness and it was always a part of my plan and a natural progression for me to take the online version and create a live version with it. I’ve been wanting to create a live retreat for several years now–a retreat where we could go into everything that creates an Empowered Life.
