How to Magnetise Self Love
How to magnetise self love so that you can stop looking at your body, finding fault and finally start loving it.
We live in a world that is obsessed with the way we look, but what about the way we feel? I have met countless women who tell me things like: I don’t like my thighs; I don’t like this bit on my arms; or my personal favorite, have you seen the size of my hips? One thing is for sure, all these women are beautiful and have fantastic bodies, the real problem is that they don’t see if for themselves.
What surprised me about all these beautiful women is that they were all successful, professional individuals , doctors, lawyers, corporates, teachers, and actresses. It doesn’t seem to make one bit of difference what career you have, what status you have. The fact became clear that body image effects every single one of us.
My own body loathing days started way back, when I was a budding actress. I can tell you I have been on that one way track to body self-obsession and it ain”t pretty! Luckily, I found a better way to love my body and my life! Today im sharing my top 5 ways to magnetise your self routine so that you can stop looking at your body, finding fault and finally start loving it!
AFFIRMATIONS. Start your day with soothing statements that reflect positively about your body. For example: I love my body, I feel beautiful, I am grateful for my body. These are great affirmations, that over time you will come to believe on a deep level. Ramp things up a little further by repeating them while moving.
DANCE. Dance, dance to something that lifts your spirits, be wild and free, embrace your inner child, my personal favorite, PYT, Michael Jackson, do this first thing, as it gets you in touch with your body, pants optional, hairbrush essential!!
BREATHE. Take 5 minutes in the morning to breathe in for the count of 4, out for the count of 4, mouth closed, eyes shut, alternating nostrils with one finger holding left and right side. This helps balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system which is excellent for reducing stress! And over thinking!
MOVE. Go for a walk or do a 10 minute home workout. It gets the blood flowing; the body moving functionally; removes toxins and waste that build up over night while we sleep and is excellent just after your silly dance! Make sure you drink a glass of water to stay hydrated!
GRATITUDE. Look in the mirror, yes straight in the mirror at yourself and list 10 things about your body and yourself you are thankful for. This may feel uncomfortable at first, but practice makes perfect!
