Manifesting in May
Manifesting in simple terms is taking our thoughts and converting these into the material form. But, as humans, especially ones who are currently living in the busiest times known to man, we often forget our ability to create what we desire in life.
And as we are approaching the half year mark, it is easy to become overwhelmed by all of the things we haven’t got to or are yet to create!
This could be down to having too much on our plates; not being able to focus on any one thing for longer than a moment or two or simply not realising that this was even something available to us.
While I had always been an optimist focused on creating opportunity over obstacles, I had no idea that my thoughts held such power. When backed by intention and desire, I started to see how I was ultimately creating what I wanted.
“What you think and what you feel and what manifests is always a match, every single time. No exception” – Esther Hicks.
The first time I manifested something, I put this down to being a fun coincidence. However, when it happened a second and then a third time I started to sit up and take notice. I realized not only the power of my thoughts but the power of my desire and when the two of these were combined, anything became possible.
Here is how to do it:
Acknowledge it. The law of attraction exists just as gravity exists. Therefore, it is happening whether or not we accept it or believe it to be true. Albert Einstein held that everything was energy. When we realise that this force of energy is available to us, we can start to use this to draw in whatever it is we desire.
Get clear on what it is you want. Often what we want in life is closer than we realise. However, we need to know what it is, to create, receive or ask for it. Over 90% of people do not know what they want in life. Get clear on what it is you want, and you will see that it is often a lot closer than you realize.
You must ask for it. Oprah famously once said “we get in life what we have the courage to ask for.” Which is true. When you are clear on what it is you want, then you only need to ask for it. I remember learning this and almost thinking it was too good to be true. However, if you think about it, it makes sense. How can you receive something if you are not willing to ask for it first? Put out your request, and you will be amazed as to how it will be answered.
Thoughts create things, both positive and negative. Our thoughts are simply energy at the end of the day. Just as we can create our desired outcomes by positive thinking, we can also create our nightmares by thinking negative thoughts. How can you overcome this? Simple. Every time a negative thought comes to mind, replace this with the opposite, positive thought.
Act as if. To create “something” you need to behave as if you already received it. Our external world is merely a reflection of our internal world. I love to do this by telling people as if something has already happened. This my seem like a bold action, but by declaring our intentions publicly, we are committing ourselves further to creating our reality.
Release it. It may seem like a contradiction to the step above, but what this is simply doing is letting go of any attachment we have to the outcome. By being attached, we can block what is intended for us. Something I like to tell myself when I am focused and committed to creating something is that it will be “this or something better.”
Receive it. This step, would you believe, is often the hardest step of all and that is to receive in what it is we have asked for. This can be down to limiting beliefs we hold such as “we don’t deserve it” or “this is too good to be true.” When we think like this we are sending out a signal that we do not wish to receive what we have asked for. Instead, when you receive something you have asked for, smile and say “thank you!”
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way.” – Albert Einstein.
